Honda 1200cc Gold Wing with Interstate package.
This
motorcycle was ridden in by its owner to our
consignment lot. Bike starts up great and runs like a champ.
Honda made this model of Gold Wing from 1983 to 1987 (1988).
It was a great improvement over its 1100 cc predecessor. With
the addition of the 100ccs for speed this model also set the
standard of style of its time, and was the top of the line
bike in 1985.
The
upgrades this bike has, compared to a bike just 2 years older,
are as follows:
- New
stiffer frame.
- Bigger
and more responsive version of the 1182cc flat-four engine.
- More
torque
- Hydraulic
valve adjusters
- Better
suspension and handling overall.
The
style of this GL 1200, with the square headlight,
fairing, and trunk, make this bike look quite masculine.Fun
to ride is the term that best describes this bike. With
a top speed of 115 MPH, 95 horse power and 87 pounds of torque
with a weight of roughly 600 pounds, this bike is not for
the faint hearted. Even with all that power and size the Gold
Wing still manages to get around 50 miles to the gallon, which
is awesome in today's sky high gas prices.

is an auction for the sale of this 1985 Honda Gold
Wing . This auction closes on a Sunday
evening. As such, a partial payment of $1,000 (US)
is expected to be made via Pay Pal (or by bank wire
transfer) by the successful winning bidder within
24 hours after winning this auction - received by
us no later than 6PM (Eastern Standard Time) Tuesday.
Please
note: If partial payment is not received
following this auction's end by Tuesday
